Mixed trend prevails in foodgrains market


On the opening day moong dal was up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,700 from its earlier closing rate of Rs 6,500. The prices of thoor dal, moong dal and gram dal showed an upward trend while rest of the commodities ruled steady during the week that ended here today. Thoor dal opened the week at Rs.6,500 and ruled steady till Friday when its price rose by Rs 300 to finish the week at Rs 6,800. On the opening day moong dal was up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,700 from its earlier closing rate of Rs 6,500. Gram dal opened the week at Rs 7,000 from Rs.6,800 per quintal and ended the week at Rs 6,800.
