Asia-Pacific markets traded mixed on Friday as investors remained cautious over the short-term economic impact of the coronavirus as cases around the world continue to rise, CNBC reports. Australia’s benchmark ASX 200 reversed earlier losses to climb by 0.16 percent, with the heavily-weighted financials sub index up 0.13 percent. Materials and energy sectors still struggled for gains. The Nikkei 225 index in Japan fell by 0.57 percent after market open while the Topix index was down 0.28 percent. South Korea’s Kospi index traded near flat at 2,547.90.
