KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's interest at the Korea Open came to an end on Saturday when mixed doubles duo Chan Peng Soon-Cheah Yee See crashed out in the last four stage in Seoul. Peng Soon-Yee See, playing in their maiden Super Series semi-finals, lost 21-15, 21-9 to China's Wang Yilyu-Huang Dongping. Despite the defeat, 29-year-old Peng Soon took it in his stride and has vowed to come back stronger with his current partner. I believe that with each tournament we compete in, we are getting better," said Peng Soon, who was only paired with Yee See in May. Recently at the Kuala Lumpur Sea Games (KL2017), Peng Soon-Yee See settled for the bronze medal after losing to eventual winners Dechapol Puavaranukroh-Sapsiree Taerattanachai of Thailand in the semi-finals.
