WASHINGTON—Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, once crowned by Republicans as their presidential nominee, became the lone member of his party on Wednesday to vote to convict and remove President Trump from office. In so doing, Mr. Romney denied Mr. Trump the ability to present the acquittal as a unanimous decision among GOP senators. With the exception of Mr. Romney, the Senate voted along party lines to acquit the president, who has a 91% approval rating among GOP voters, according to recent polling by The Wall Street Journal/NBC News.
