On Thursday, Toyota NZ announced it was recalling 37,000 vehicles with a possible fault that could cause fuel leak. Mitsubishi has followed in the wake of Toyota in announcing a major recall of vehicles in New Zealand. Mitsubishi on Friday confirmed that 27,000 vehicles across the Lancer, Outlander, Pajero, MiEV and Triton ranges - were being recalled because of a fault that could affect headlight operation. Cook confirmed their had been no problems reported to them from the possible fault but urged customers to get their vehicles checked when they were notified.
