Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems will supply three of its M701 JAC gas turbine generators for a massive combined cycle (CCGT) power plant in the United Arab Emirates. The three JAC generators will be used in a 2,400-MW plant in the Emirate of Fujairah. MHPS, which will be renamed Mitsubishi Power to complete its separation from Hitachi next month, has received orders for 154 gas turbines from customers in the Middle East and North Africa, according to the company.
