The never-ending story of the construction of Mitihani House, headquarters of the Kenya National Examinations Council, is enough to test the patience of saints. It was intended to, among other uses, house a printing press to handle all examination papers nationwide. The Department of Public Works wants Sh600 million more to complete the work, allegedly by next month. Mitihani House is a ridiculous monument to waste. Not a cent more should be paid until the billions already gobbled up have been accounted for and heads roll.
