The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested two more suspects in the grisly murder of a scrap trader near Old Dhaka’s Mitford Hospital. The suspects, identified by their first names as Sajib and Rajib, were arrested early on Sunday morning in Netrokona, according to the DB Joint Commissioner Nasirul Islam. Police soon arrested Mahmudul Hasan Mohin, 41, and Tarek Rahman Robin, 22, recovering a firearm from him in the process. On Friday, the RAB arrested two more suspects, Alamgir, 28, and Monir alias Lomba Monir, 32, at Ibn Sina Hospital in Keraniganj. With the latest arrests in Netrokona, the total number of people detained in the high-profile case now stands at seven.
