Wendell Mitchell scored 23 points, capped by a fallaway 3-pointer with 48 seconds remaining, as visiting Texas A&M pushed its way past Tennessee, 63-58, on Tuesday in Southeastern Conference action in Knoxville, Tenn. The Aggies led by one point a halftime and by three after two free throws by Josh Nebo with 3:58 to play. Quenton Jackson added 11 points for Texas A&M (10-9, 4-3 SEC) before fouling out with 3:23 to play. The win gave the Aggies, which shot just 30.4 percent but outrebounded Tennessee 46-21, two victories in their past five games. Mitchell led all scorers in the half with 8 points while James paced the Volunteers with 7 points on 3 of 3 shooting from the floor.
