The battle for first place in the CFL’s West Division is now a two-team fight. They need the Stampeders to lose their final two games to have a chance to pass them in the standings. The Bombers gave the Stamps a scare on Saturday, though, and there’s nobody who will be eager to face them in the playoffs. The Bombers ran the ball for 191 yards but struggled in the red zone and QB Chris Streveler completed only 19-of-29 passes for 137 yards, while also throwing two interceptions. So for now, the Stampeders remain in first place in the West Division because they own the tie-breaker against the Riders.
