Mississippi State cornerback Emmanuel Forbes will forgo his senior season and declare for the NFL draft, Forbes tweeted Thursday evening. “Deciding to play for Mississippi State has been one of the best decisions I have ever made,” Forbes’ post read. A number of Bulldogs have elected to return for 2023, including linebacker Nathaniel Watson, defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy, defensive end Jordan Davis and right tackle Kameron Jones. Forbes won’t be one of them, but he’ll head to the professional ranks with a shot at being a mid-round pick or better. Theo DeRosa reports on Mississippi State sports for The Dispatch.
