Peel Regional Police and Fire services battled explosions and a massive fire at a construction site near a seniors residence in Streetsville Friday night. Crombie told CP24 in a phone interview that the fire had been contained and that the cause is unknown. “They know it won’t spread any further.”Mississauga Fire Chief Tim Beckett said the explosions may have been caused by materials at the construction site, such as propane tanks, igniting.
