No one was injured in an early morning apartment fire in Mississauga that forced residents out of the third floor of a building for two hours. Firefighters reported that smoke and flames were visible from a third floor unit in the low rise building. The resident in the unit where the fire started was out of the unit when firefighters arrived but was missing her cat. Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services says one person was treated at the scene but not taken to hospital. Paolo Carretta, spokesperson for Peel Regional Police, said the fire was contained to one unit and police went to the scene.
