Mission Viejo student predicted Cubs' 2016 World Series win in 1993 high school yearbook

In 1993, Mission Viejo senior Michael Lee had no idea what to write to go with his photo in the school yearbook. He ended up going with what seemed to be a pretty random prediction at the time:“Chicago Cubs 2016 World Champions. And, of course, that’s exactly what ended up happening Wednesday night, when the Cubs beat Cleveland, 8-7, in Game 7 of the World Series. Lee correctly called the Cubs’ first championship since 1908 more than 23 years before it happened. charles.schilken@latimes.comTwitter: @chewkiiiALSOBill Murray is America's spirit animal, celebrating the Chicago Cubs' World Series win108 is enough: Cubs beat Indians to end baseball’s longest World Series droughtFeeling like a kid again after the Cubs win an agonizing and wonderful Game 7
