Harish Rao has said that the works on the fourth phase of Mission Kakatiya, the ambitious project launched for rejuvenation and restoration of water tanks across the State, would be launched before December. The Minister was responding to a query on the progress of Mission Kakatiya works in the Legislative Assembly on Monday. There were also complaints of sub-standard quality of work that is defeating the purpose of the project, alleged the party leaders. “The government has failed to announce rolling estimates that is a crucial component of the project and there were doubts about the commencement of the fourth phase,” Mr. Jeevan Reddy alleged. The Mission Kakatiya works are illustrative of this,” he said.
