(Image: Boipelo Mesi)Police spokesperson Brigadier Sam Makhele said local children allegedly complained of a "bad smell from a shack not far from Biopelo's home". The suspect was eventually taken to safety but was later pronounced dead, with police continuing to monitor tensions in the area. A local community leader who helped in the search, identifying himself as Mr Thebe, told SABC News a child reported the bad smell to him around 4pm. Mr Thebe said Boipelo's hand was "showing from outside" the wardrobe and when he opened it she was "seated inside".
