A dog that had been missing for five years looked unrecognisable to her doting owner when they were finally reunited. Lotty, now five years old, went missing in April 2014 while her owner, Dawn Proctor from Stoke in Britain, was in the process of moving to another house. Because the animal had been microchipped it was easy for the vet to trace her owner and reunite the pair. “I’m so happy we’ve been reunited and I’m going to ensure she enjoys the rest of her life with me. “I hope my story inspires others to always take lost dogs to the vets so more owners can be reunited with their beloved pets.
