PETALING JAYA: A 2013 story of missing six-year-old boy William Yau Zhen Zhong has gone viral, despite the case having been closed four years ago. Social media users have been sharing a poster of the missing boy from 2013, confusing some readers into believing it happened this year. On Jan 16, 2013, William was reported missing, having last been seen around Jalan 7/6 in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya. On Jan 20, 2013, The Star produced a missing boy poster to alert the public, but four days later, on Jan 24, William's body was found floating near the Sungai Sireh jetty in Port Klang. Social media users are urged not to circulate the outdated missing poster as the case is closed.
