Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen has been widely criticised after a video showed her smoking in a coffee shop was posted online. Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014Head of the Miss Vietnam Pageant 2014 organising board, Le Xuan Son, also criticised Duyen's behaviour, saying it will badly affect the image of Vietnamese women as well as the Miss Vietnam Pageant. In the recent smoking video clip, there were no children, pregnant women or no smoking signs can be seen. Son blamed the lax management in the training for contestants and organising process for some recent scandals involved several winners of Miss Vietnam. "We are setting out tighter regulations for the activities of Miss Vietnam winners this year and the years to come to avoid such problems," Son said.
