The Senate, last month, adopted measures congratulating and commending the Filipina beauty queen for her victory. Sotto, who filed one of the resolutions honoring Gray, had cited that her win placed the Philippines in the fourth spot in the list of countries that have the most number of Miss Universe title holders. Aside from Sotto, Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri and Senator Nancy Binay also filed separate resolutions for Gray.
