Quoting relatives, police said two youths posing as potential tenants had entered the house at Dakkhinkhan’s Dakkhin Parha on Wednesday evening and hacked Wahida Aktar, 45. From there, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 10pm where doctors declared her dead, said Dakkhinkhan police OC Syed Lutfur Rahman. He is currently in country, but was in Comilla when his wife was killed, OC Rahman said. The police officer said the two killers had taken Wahida to see an unoccupied room on the fifth floor. OC Rahman said they were trying to find the possible motive behind the murder.
