A real-world Harry Potter game similar to the Pokémon Go sensation of a few years ago has been released today. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is now available on Android and iOS devices worldwide. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite uses augmented reality to project an animated characters and creatures on to real life locations. They launched a beta version of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in New Zealand in April before expanding to Australia a couple of weeks later. Marigold, one of the developers of the game, revealed in a blog post: 'It's what everyone imagines when you read the Harry Potter books.
