Miri: The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives, and Consumerism Ministry Miri branch has released the price list for controlled items for Chinese New Year, valid until Feb 21. The maximum retail price of live chicken is RM6.70 and wholesale price RM6 per kg, standard chicken (slaughtered and cleaned) is RM8.50 while the wholesale price is RM7.60 per kg. The retail price of super chicken (slaughtered and cleaned) is RM9.50 and the wholesale price is RM8.50 per kg. Imported round cabbage from Indonesia and China (excluding Beijing) costs RM4 and the wholesale price is RM3 per kg. The price of pork (stomach) retails at RM19.50 while the wholesale price is RM17.50 per kg.
