He received a 100% endorsement from the members of the Assembly. The election which was supervised by officials from the Northern Regional Electoral Commission, saw all the 20 elected Assembly members and 9 government appointees voting in favour of the DCE. The New DCE, Mohammed Abdallah Hashmin was over excited for the high level of confidence reposed in him by the President and the assembly members. Mr Abdallah Hashmin who is a development worker promised to prioritize education, health, agriculture and economic empowerment of women and youth of the area.
