Sehore (MP), Jul 11 (PTI) Enraged over the "kidnapping" of a 17-year-old girl, her relatives allegedly set several houses of a minority community on fire in Cheepaner village near here, the police said today. The girls kin torched around 24 houses in the village on Saturday, they said. "Enraged over her kidnapping and suspecting the role of Sabir in it, the family members of the girl, who belonged to a upper caste community, torched 24 houses belonging to the the minority community in the area," Nasrullaganj police station in-charge Niranjan Sharma said. Sabir was arrested and produced in a court in Nasrullaganj, which sent him to judicial remand. Tension prevailed in Cheepaner village after the houses were torched, with many people even leaving the place, police said.
