A minor worker sustained severe internal injuries after his coworkers pumped air into his body through rectum in Sirajganj’s Kamarkhanda Saturday. He was rushed to Sirajganj General Hospital and later he was transferred to Bogra’s Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in the evening. According to police, the minor locked into an altercation with his fellow worker Zakirul over cleaning the office room on Saturday morning. “At a point of their skirmish , some of his coworkers forcefully pumped a large amount of air into his rectum with a vacuum cleaner,” said Kamarkhanda police station officer-in-charge Basu Dev. Earlier in 2015, another boy named Rakib Hawlader from Khulna was killed using the same method as his former employers inserted a high-pressure air pump nozzle into his rectum at a motor workshop.
