Emergency services are responding to a crash at a Kilbirnie block of flats. Police responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle in Evans Bay, Kilbirnie, in Wellington on Thursday. An onlooker reported that the pedestrian had been pinned between a car and a wall in a carpark outside a block of flats. One person was assessed by ambulance staff as having minor injuries, and was not taken to hospital. Police later clarified that although a person was injured, it appeared they kicked the car, not been struck by it.
