The incident came to light after the victim’s mother visited her daughter’s workplace in the Adarshpara area of Rangpur city on Saturday. She fell very sick after we brought her back home to Kishorganj (a upazila in Nilphamari). Meanwhile, Mofizul Haque, OC of Kishorganj police station said: “The incident took place in Rangpur. When asked about the assault, the accused Kanta denied the allegations against her and said that she sent the girl to her home in Nilphamari as the girl had stolen money from them.
