KURIGRAM, Nov 4, 2024 (BSS) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Bamantari village in Nageshawri upazila of the district today. The victim was Meraz Babu, 4, son of Al Amin, a resident of the village. Police said Meraz was playing beside the pond and suddenly fell into the pond around 7 am and drowned. Later, local people recovered his body from the pond. Officer-in-charge of Nagshwari Police Station Mizanur Rahman confirmed it.
