ALOR STAR: The Kedah Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has confirmed that a petrol station worker in Sungai Petani was caught on video filling a foreign-registered vehicle with RON95 petrol today. State director Muhammad Nizam Jamaludin said the ministry's Sungai Petani branch inspected the premises following the circulation of the video on social media. Muhammad Nizam said the ministry had issued a prohibition and control order on the sale of RON95 petrol to foreign vehicles to all station operators in Kedah on April 29, 2025. Earlier, a 66-second video went viral showing a worker at the station pumping the subsidised fuel into the foreign vehicle's tank.
