The sources said a file proposing the names of new ministers could have been sent to the Raj Bhavan late on Tuesday evening. Trinamul had suffered a blow in Kujur's Kumargram Assembly segment where the party won 77 panchayat seats compared to 59 of the BJP. The 32-seat Kumargram panchayat samiti also went to the BJP which has 17 members. The ruling party had suffered a jolt in Jhargram amid murmurs that there was a serious problem in the district leadership. Trinamul could win only 373 of 779 gram panchayat seats in Jhargram where elections were held.
