The Minister of State for Displaced and Refugees Affairs, Yousuf Jalala, discussed Wednesday with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Libya, Bérangère Böell-Yousfi, the difficulties facing the IDPs, especially those staying in shelters; so as to provide them with their basic needs. Böell-Yousfi explained during the meeting, the mechanism of support and the humanitarian response of the UNFPA in the affected areas and in municipalities hosting the displaced, stressing the need for a rapid response to Ghat IDPs crisis, according to the Information Office of the Presidential Council.
