New Delhi: A mindset change is needed for quality functioning of the newly set up National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), said S.J. “It’s a huge responsibility on all of us (judges of the tribunals, lawyers and company secretaries,” he said. The symposium was organised by the Institute of Company Secretaries and NCLT Bar Association. Mukhopadhaya emphasised the role of lawyers and company secretaries who will help those hearing these cases at the tribunals in delivering sound decisions. Kumar, who also spoke at the symposium, said that there was a need to improve the quality of advocacy skills of company secretaries who are also allowed to represent clients before the NCLT.
