In a statement today, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mahmood Dogar said the suspects were being identified through videos of the incident shared on social media, and that a number of photos and videos had been sent to the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) to ascertain their identities. Earlier, a special investigation team was formed to investigate the Minar-e-Pakistan incident in which a female TikToker was assaulted by people on the eve of August 14.
