Milos Raonic pulls out of Davis Cup clash with Great Britain

Milos Raonic is pulling out of Canada’s Davis Cup tie with Great Britain, citing a leg injury suffered during his quarter-final defeat at the Australian Open. “I am sad and disappointed that I am unable to compete alongside the Canadian Davis Cup team versus Great Britain,” said Raonic, in a press release issued by Tennis Canada. That leaves both Canada and the British side without their biggest stars for the clash, which takes place Feb 3–5 in Ottawa. Andy Murray has already announced he won’t be joining the British team. “We wish Milos all the best with his recovery, and know he would be on the court with us if he could,” said Canadian team captain Martin Laurendeau.
