Photo: CollectedDHAKA, March 24, 2026 (BSS) - Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon today announced a special 180-day priority programme with the aim of modernizing and ensuring inclusive development of the education sector. Senior officials from the Secondary and Higher Education Division, the Technical and Madrasah Education Division, and the Primary and Mass Education Division were present at the meeting. Emphasizing swift implementation of electoral commitments, Milon said initiatives such as “One Teacher, One Tab,” multimedia classrooms, compulsory third-language education, technical education for all, and the “One Child, One Tree” programme would be implemented to ensure modernization and inclusive development of education. The meeting decided to distribute free school uniforms and shoes to more than 200,000 students across every upazila within the next 180 days.
