Though it is unfort­unate that the federa­l govern­ment has to bear these losses­ISLAMABAD: Not long ago, a meeting of a Senate Standing Committee revealed the figures of monetary losses amounting to millions that the federal capital administration had to bear due to the PTI’s protest back in 2014. Now the figures of losses incurred due to another protest at the Faizabad interchange in Islamabad have been revealed which is a staggering amount of Rs140 million. The expenditure by the Islamabad police, NADRA and the capital’s local administration totals to roughly another Rs78 million. Though it is unfortunate that the federal government has to bear these losses, it was in fact the government’s failure that had led to this in the first place.
