The Milimani Law courts will remain closed to the public for the next fourteen days effective tomorrow, Thursday. This is a directive from Chief Justice David Maraga, after one member of staff tested positive to Covid-19. “One member of staff has subsequently tested positive for Covid-19,” a statement from the CJ’s office read in part. Last week, Nairobi’s Makadara Law court was also temporarily closed after two of its employees tested positive for Covid-19. Another 11 judiciary staff tested positive for the disease at the Mombasa Law court, prompting its immediate closure.
