Canadiens defenceman Shea Weber will be playing his 900th regular-season NHL game Thursday and what better place to mark the milestone than Nashville, the city where his illustrious career began? Subban missed the first game because of an injury and Weber missed both games last season. Weber has two goals in three games against Nashville, while Subban has four assists in four games against his former team. Weber missed the first two months as he recovered from foot and knee surgeries. The numbers don’t reflect the job Weber is doing as the Canadiens’ captain, a role handed to him after Max Pacioretty was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights.
