Tauranga is set to be the warmest place in the country tomorrow, with temperatures hitting 18 degrees. "On Wednesday another low looks like coming from the Tasman bringing further rain and mild temperatures in the northern parts of the North island." "There will be a fair bit of rain in Auckland and northern areas today and heavy showers will continue into Sunday," he said.
