File photo Focus BanglaMaritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra to hoist distant cautionary signal 1Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain and mild heat waves over different parts of the country. “Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Gopalgonj, Rangamati, Chandpur, Srimangal, Pabna,Nilphamari, Mongla, Satkhira, Jashore, Patuakhali and Bhola and it may continue at some places” a BMD bulletin said on Monday. The axis of monsoon trough runs through Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay. The sun will set at 5:34pm on Monday and will rise at 5:55am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
