DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - A mild earthquake was felt in Dhaka and its adjacent areas today. The tremor occurred at 5:32 pm, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). The earthquake was of mild intensity, said the met office. The tremor, recorded at 5:32:32 pm, had its epicenter in Gowainghat, Sylhet. The epicenter was located 214 kilometers northeast of the BMD Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
