However, on Wednesday night, Arsenal showed rare defensive fortitude as they held on to beat the Premier League champions 2-1. Then on Saturday, more resolute defending and clinical finishing from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang helped them to beat City and reach the FA Cup final. Arsenal manager Mikel ArtetaNevertheless, Arsenal are still 10th in the table, 40 points behind Liverpool and face a battle to qualify for European football next season. And while Arteta is pleased with his side's progress, he insists they still have a long way to go.
