The Fenway Sports Group (FSG) president was en-route to Anfield from Boston for a pre-arranged meeting and was on board a private jet. A Liverpool spokesperson told Sky Sports News: "Mike was the sole passenger on the chartered flight from Boston and was unhurt. The Liverpool spokesperson added: "He (Mike Gordon) will be devastated it's caused disruption to people's travel plans." Gordon is the second largest individual shareholder in Liverpool Football Club, behind the club's principal owner and FSG co-founder John W Henry.
