Mike Bolsinger holds the fort, Toronto Blue Jays squeak by Cincinnati Reds to complete series sweep

TORONTO — The way the baseball has been flying out of the park over the past 30 days or so, the Toronto Blue Jays will say so long to May with some regret. The Jays have now won eight of their past nine. Travis’s homer, on the ninth pitch of a savvy at-bat in the bottom of the seventh, was the Jays’ ninth of the Reds series and their 49th in the month of May, the second-most they’ve ever hit in that month. GAME ONAfter having difficulty finding the strike zone early on, Jays starter Bolsinger settled down for a solid 5.1 innings of work. Manager John Gibbons had hoped Bolsinger could carry the team deep into the game in what was likely his final start for now.
