Leafs coach Mike Babcock has been named one of three honourees for the 2018 Order of Hockey in Canada. Babcock was named an honouree on Tuesday along with Daniel Goyette and Ryan Smyth. The trio will be honoured at a Hockey Canada gala on June 18. “As players and coaches, this group has led the way on and off the ice, teaching and inspiring Canadian players at all levels of the game,” said Hockey Canada chief executive officer Tom Renney. He has also won gold at the Winter Olympics, world championship, world junior championship and World Cup of Hockey.
