Share TweetBy Czarina Nicole OngFormer First Gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo is asking the Sandiganbayan Seventh Division to allow him to travel to Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong from December 26, 2018 to January 6, 2019. Arroyo indicated in his travel motion that he will be in Tokyo from December 26 to January 1. Arroyo is facing graft charges in connection with the alleged anomalous purchase of overpriced helicopters by the Philippine National Police (PNP) back in 2009. Meanwhile, he also has another graft case before the Fourth Division involving the anomalous national broadband deal worth $329 million with ZTE Corporation back in 2007.
