Mr Mele added that Mr Miguna has been given a chance to correct the anomaly. Miguna has dropped former student leader James Gathungu as his running mate and replaced him with Karen Wangenye. Mr Miguna had two weeks ago unveiled James Karihe Gathungu, a former Laikipia University student leader, at a low key ceremony. “This candidature is distinctly different from that of Kidero and Sonko,” Mr Miguna had said of his partnership with Mr Gathungu.
