Ntimaru West MCA Francis Mahori, according to police records, led a group of youths in beating up the engineer at a construction site in the ward in Kuria Sub-county before going into hiding. Mr Losia said the MCA had been dodging police roadblocks along Ntimaru-Migori road and had stopped using his private car, forcing the officers to launch a manhunt. We were at the murram pit site in Ngoche area when he (MCA) attacked me before his youths joined him,” Mr Chacha said. He said he made several attempts to flee but that the ward representative barricaded the road using his car.
