For the latest week, coronavirus cases in the United States increased 20.3% from the week before, with 914,968 cases reported. Adding the most new cases overall were Middlesex County, with 1,520 cases; Suffolk County, with 1,001 cases; and Essex County, with 857. Across Massachusetts, cases fell in three counties, with the best declines in Barnstable, Berkshire and Franklin counties.
